Sintanjin Brewery - Creating a unique heritage
Located in Sintanjin in the City of Daejeon, a city located in the central part of South Korea, Sintanjin Brewery is a brewery that has succeeded to the “Yu” family’s Gayang Drink, which has been passed down from generation to generation.

Can you give us a reason why you decided to do the old tradition rice wine?
"My house was the head family house on the major blood line. Our family members had to prepare a lot of different types of family event that we also need to make our own version of rice wine to treat visitors"
I believed that the quality of the rice wine of our family was outstanding enough to make it into a serious business so I finally decided to found the brewery after the family name."
"Yakju (meaning “medicine liquor”) made from non-glutinous rice, glutinous rice and koji is famous for its clean taste and has already established its own reputation"
